SIMON AND THE OAKS is based on her critically acclaimed novel with the same name. It’s also the first feature film adaptation based on her books.
SIMON AND THE OAKS stars one of Swedens’ rising stars Bill Skarsgård (Simple Simon, Arn – The Night Templar), brother of True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgård, as well as Helen Sjöholm (As It Is in Heaven). The film will have its Swedish theatrical premiere December 9th 2011, distributed by Nordisk Film.
